The UKF College of Engineering and Technology has a Central Library with 5,500 titles and 16,000 volumes. The College also subscribes to 42 National Journals and 18 International Journals. We have also subscribed to the on-line journals published by Professional Bodies like Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE) springer and Wiley. College is also a member of INFLIBNET J-gate (J-Gate).
Aim of the library is to serve the varied needs of many readers efficiently. The Library makes it available to the staff, and students, a wide collection of Engineering subjects, including Books, Journals, and Reference Sources and E- resources. This page explains the resources, services, privileges and regulations and Electronic Resources like e-Journals, e-books etc., of the library. It should enable readers to obtain the information they seek in the most expeditious and efficient manner. The Library Staff hope to serve you conscientiously and well.
Members of the Library may borrow four books at a time for a month (30days). Books can be renewed only once at one given period provided there is no reservation for them. Members must satisfy themselves whether the books are in good condition, before they leave the counter. If any damage is noticed, the same must be immediately intimated. Otherwise they will be held responsible for any damage. The overdue charges are currently Rs.1/- per day per book will be levied for the first week, RS.2/- per day per book for the second week5and Rs 5/- per day per week for the subsequent weeksThe person in whose name a book is issued will be held responsible for the care of the same. He will have to bear the compensation for any damage or loss either by replacing or by paying double the cost of the book as decided by the principal.

UKFCET Library provides reading room facility for 120 students at a time with 1200Sqr. feet on the main hall of library
Reference section of the library provides more than 2000 books including foreign and Indian books.Reference and rare books will not be issued. They should be consulted in the Library only.
Library offers free high speed internet facility to the user to access the online resources subscribed,the access to this section restricted by the login. All the online resources are subscribed through Institutional IP address (no login required) Students of UKFCET can get access from all computer connected to internet under the institutional IP
A book-bank scheme offers the full set of text books to the students with a nominal annual payment. Library book bank provides books for an entire semester, this facility only available for all student members .For the registration of book bank students fill up the application form provided by the library along with receipt of deposit of Rs.2500/- and Rs. 500 for each semester. Number of books varies for each semester students can hold the books for the entire semester without any overdue charges
More than 70 print journals and 200 bounded Journal archivesare available in this section along with a separate reading space for student’s convenience
ISS is completely specialized service for the final year students and faculties of our library, for getting ISS service user must fill up a ISS query-form collected from the library with the permission of the staff advisor. Library staff will search and download the required information and send to the user within five working days in electronic formats such as Pdf, html. Doc. etc
