About IGNITRA HACKATHON – 2022

IGNITRA HACKATHON 2022 is an initiative of Kshema Power and Infrastructure Company PVT LTD & Doctor spot Technologies Pvt. Ltd   with technical coordination for the event done by UKF College of Engineering and Technology.

IGNITRA HACKATHON 2022 aims to provide students of Higher Education Institutions a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. This is a tool to drive sustained innovation and crowd source solutions to address real life problems and social issues. Thus we can inculcate a culture of product innovation and mindset of problem solving into the aspiring student community. This is a time bound competitive event where participants collaborate to build proofs of concepts, viable and cost effective products for a specific pre-defined problem.

The participants can connect to the industry, technology experts and academia! This can lead to their engineering career or research level 

And the best part is, each one is building solutions, asking big questions, and learning. You will meet the experts and an absolute technology landscape.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Indian nationals only.
  • Students studying for Plus one and Plus Two.
  • Need to be a regular student with valid school identity card.
  • CBSE/ICSE/STATE Syllabus students.
  • Team not more than 3 members/ Individual participation.

  • Design a alarm system in our smart watch or phone to know whether a bus passed the bus stop
  • Design an inbuilt vehicle system which helps to stringent laws and a strict implementation of
    wearing helmet and tight the seat belt during two/ four wheel drives to make India’s roads safe.
    As well, system must be user-friendly to carry helmet along with vehicle.
  • Design an efficient energy management system for electric vehicle

Evaluation Criteria

An Online technical Quiz will be conducted to identify the interested students.

Proposal submission:

Each team has to select an area of their peculiar interest and need to submit an abstract of the work they are intended to do in not more than 500 words. The participating team must ensure they have chosen the problem statement of the 3 thrust areas enlisted. The best proposals will be selected for the next round and the same will be intimidated to the participants through the mail.

After the proposal, shortlisted 30 teams will get selected for the next round.

Round 3: 

Design/Prototype and Business Plan submission:

Participants have to submit their design plan, it must include detailed explanations, diagrams. The design evaluation will be carried out by our technical team and the best plans will be shortlisted

After shortlisting, 15 teams will get selected for the finale.

Round 4: 

Finale: finale will be of 8 hours duration conducted on close monitoring  method.

  • All the submitted proposals would be reviewed by the evaluators under different focus areas.
  • Each application will be assessed by a set of evaluators to ensure the best submissions.
  •  Each abstract related to problem statement will be evaluated based on the criteria given and marks will be awarded accordingly.
  • Based on this marks the selection process will move on.
  • The applications will be evaluated on different parameters, including but not limited to the market need, the novelty of the idea/innovation, scalability, potential impact, technical & financial feasibility, commercialization capacity, the team, and the overall business plan.
  • The evaluators reserve the right to select or reject any submission without assigning any reasons whatsoever and without thereby incurring any liability to the participant(s) whatsoever.
