UKF Center for Advanced Research and Skill Development (UCARS) is established to conduct quality research in fundamental and applied sciences. The center focuses on conducting translational researches which could directly impact industry and society. The center has the state of art technologies like 3D Printer, Laser cutter, CNC engraver, Acoustics Levitator, latest imaging technologies, lathe facilities and high performing Computing facilities to conduct cutting edge research. Kshema power and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd and Technogenics Pvt Ltd are the two industrial partners of U-CARS.
The center situates at the beautiful campus of UKF College of Engineering and Technology Parippally, Kollam. The nearest railway station is Varkala, situates 8.4 km away from the center and nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport, 47km.
To develop a research and skill based educational ecosystem among the undergraduate and graduate students and subsequently channelise the outcomes to translational technologies that could directly benefit the society.
